Niki has been brought up on charges of prostitution, but the judge, rather than sentence her, decides to give her a chance to reform. He tells her that he will test her obedience, her willingness to conform. He visits Niki's home with her. It was a long drive and Niki says she needs to visit the bathroom. The judge tells her she can wait and that she needs to get on with some chores; there is dirty laundry on the floor which needs washing, for example. When Niki starts the water flowing in the washing machine, the sound is sheer torture, but she has no choice but to hold her pee and do as she is told; the alternative, after all, is a spell in prison. The judge next tells Niki to sweep up cat litter with a broom, and then to sweep into a mound the sawdust scattered all over her garage. Niki complies, asking again if she can just run and use the bathroom, but the judge refuses to let her go. With her chores finished for the moment, Niki is told to stand before the judge and wait. She does her best but she really is dying to pee. Unable to stop herself, she pees in front of the judge, creating a puddle at her feet which runs away towards the drain in the middle of the garage. The judge orders Niki to get something to clean up the mess before she cleans herself up.
